I heart technology
Waiting for the bus is one of life's most earth-shatteringly frustrating experiences. How many times have you waited for twice as long as should be between buses, got fed up and decided to walk, only to have a bus overtake you? Those are the days that make me want to go and live in a cave somewhere. Yes, public transport makes me feel uncivilised. So any technology that's designed to improve this experience for me I welcome with boundless joy. This nifty little technological number would save me a lot of karma if I lived in Darwin: it's an app. that traces buses along their routes in real time.

You choose your bus stop and all the other stops along your route are lit up orange, with the one your future bus has most recently visited in a promising green.

Not being in Darwin I can't test in out in real time, but if someone wants to make one that covers the 317's route then I'll be more than happy to test it out for you.
